This is a sw problem that must be reported to Abilis technical assistance.

This is a sw problem that must be reported to Abilis technical assistance.
ERROR: PO:XXX recursion on the same port The "LOWPO" parameter of port XXX has the same value as the port itself.
ERROR: PO:XXX reached maximal recursion number Maximum number of recursions reached (15).
The whole ports stack is greater than 15, which possibly means a ports recursion problem.

Valid types for the lower port of an IP port are SYNC, LAPB, MLM, ML, PPP, IPLAN.
ERROR: IPP:YYY "LOWPO" = ZZZ not present or inactive The IP port YYY has been set with a LOWPO equal to ZZZ, which is not configured or not active.
ERROR: IPP:YYY invalid "LOWPO" = ZZZ crossed setting The IP port YYY has been set with a LOWPO equal to ZZZ, which is already in use elsewhere.
ERROR: PO:XXX "SERVICE" conflicts with use of CH:16 in TDM PR:YY The type of service set in SERVICE: parameter of the EPISDN port XXX doesn't allow the usage of channel 16 and this is in conflict with the value set in the CH: parameter of the TDM switch whose priority is YY.
ERROR: crossed setting between EIR and VOICE ROUTER on PLXX = YY The PLINK YYY is simultaneously requested for use by the Fxs/Fxo VOICE Router and the Enhanced ISDN Router, a condition which is not possible.
ERROR: PO:XXX ZZZZ and CARD:YYY conflicting settings The values of the interrupt or of the address or of the ports configured in the XXX port of type ZZZZ are in conflict with those configured in the card YYY.
ERROR: EBIB card can't be activated with EPIB or BEP cards The EBIB card cannot be activated at the same time as the EPIB and BEP cards. In fact the installation of EBIB system in the Abilis CPX is alternative to the EPIB/EXP/BEP one.
ERROR: CARD:XXX Error getting configuration The validate procedure failed to the get configuration parameter(s) for the card XXX (e.g. CARD:HSCB-1).
ERROR: CARD:XXX Error setting configuration The validate procedure failed to the set configuration parameter(s) for the card XXX (e.g. CARD:HSCB-1).
ERROR: CARD:XXX PO:YYY not present or not active The card XXX requires that port YYY is active while it is not. At the moment this is required by HSCB cards only, in fact they needs SYNC ports to be active.
ERROR: CARD:XXX and CARD:YYY conflicting settings Cards XXX and YYY have a conflict on interrupt and/or on the address and they cannot be activated simultaneously.

Type of message Meaning
Unclassified Indications of general events.
E: Indications of severe errors which require the reset of Abilis CPX.
All the sessions are closed and Abilis CPX automatically restarts.
Note that an exception is generated and saved in the Exceptions Log for a possible use by Abilis engineers.
W: Indications of not critical errors that could be caused by some malfunction.
The reason must be carefully identified, but the system will continue to function.
I: Informative indications.
Registration of events of particular interest that occour in the regular system operation.


Table 4. Generic messages.
Message Meaning
--- NEW RUN --- Indicates the start-up of the system: the software has been loaded and the initialisation phase is in progress.
SYSTEM STARTED The initialisation phases of the system is complete and then system is active.
RESTART SYSTEM Request for system restart submitted by the user through the RESTART SYSTEM command issued to the command interpreter of the Control Port or executed from the the frontal panel.
WARM START Request for unconditional system restart submitted by the user through the WARM START command issued to the command interpreter of the Control Port.
AUTO WARM START Automatic restart of Abilis CPX caused by an error.
Note that an exception is generated and saved in the Exceptions Log for a possible use by Abilis engineers.
PNP REBOOT Automatic restart of Abilis CPX caused by the PNP/PCI manager.
CONF:ACCEPTED The main configuration, that was previously saved, has been checked and accepted as valid because the system was able to successfuly start with it.
Main configuration is stored in DRIVERS.CFG, backup configuration in DRIVERS.BCK.
CONF:REFUSED The main configuration, that was previously saved, has been checked but not accepted as valid because in the previous attempt the system was NOT able to successfuly start with it.
Main configuration is stored in DRIVERS.CFG, backup configuration in DRIVERS.BCK.
CONF:RESTORE The backup configuration is being restored as the main one.
This may occour when the main configuration cannot be loaded (e.g. because the file is corrupted) or it was just refused (CONF:REFUSED).
Main configuration is stored in DRIVERS.CFG, backup configuration in DRIVERS.BCK.
CONF:RESTORE ERR The restoring of the backup configuration failed because of an error.
If neither the main nor the backup configuration can be loaded, the system will continue to reboot indefinitely. If it happens, it is necessary to repair the diskette or replace it with a second copy.

CONF:BACKUP The main configuration has been backed up.
Usually it occours after a CONF:ACCEPTED event.
Main configuration is stored in DRIVERS.CFG, backup configuration in DRIVERS.BCK.
CONF:BACKUP ERR The process of backing up the main configuration failed because of an error.
Main configuration is stored in DRIVERS.CFG, backup configuration in DRIVERS.BCK.
CONF:MISSING CFG The main configuration is not present on the diskette or it is not accessible.

Message Meaning
E: RTF xx Error "xx" during the initialisation of the file system. Report the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.
E: MISSING ssss Missing some file necessary to the Enhanced ISDN router or the Analog voice router.
Where "ssss" is an achronym corresponding to the file which the message refers to, the possible values are:
FDSP = file FDSP.BIN
BUSY = file BUSYTONE.BIN
DIAL = file READTONE.BIN
RING = file RINGTONE.BIN
Report the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.
W: F03 xx Error "xx" in the format of the above listed files.
This error usually means that the diskette is damaged, if you are sure that it is not the case peport the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.
E: F06 xx Error "xx" in the Events Log (Debug Log) file (CPX.DBG). Report the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.

W: PNP FAIL The initialisation of the PNP service failed. Report the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.
W: PNP_R FAIL The updating of the PNP service failed. Report the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.
W: PCISRV FAIL The initialisation of the PCI service failed. Report the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.
W: PCI MANY CARDS The maximum limit of 32 PCI cards which the system can support, has been reached. Report the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.
E: PCI WRONG CHS The chip set present on the mother board is incompatible with CPX software. Report the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.
W: PCI UNKN CHS The chip set present on the mother board is not in the list of the known ones. Report the error to the Abilis CPX helpdesk.

E: WDG ERROR Severe error of the hardware watchdog, probably due to hardware defect.
W: IPRT OVERFLOW The table of the dynamic IP routing went full and some new routing (e.g learned by RIP) could not be inserted.
It is possible to increase the routing table size by increasing the value of maxroute parameter in the IPRTR port.
E: OS EXIT Severe error at operating system level.
It is often caused by defective or extremely low amount of system RAM. If the problem persist after replacing or increasing the amount the system RAM, contact Abilis CPX technical assistance.
E: HNDL xx Severe internal software error.
E: Bxx yy The configuration file passed correcteness checks, however further inner checks detected a missing or incompatible configuration block.
This message is caused by a software bug, please report the error to Abilis CPX helpdesk providing the DRIVERS.CFG file and the version number and date.

Pxxx SSyz SYNC Message of the status relating to the SYNC driver.   [Messaggio di stato relativo al driver SYNC. Pxxx IPRTR X25WT Alarm on the IPRTR "xxx" port.  One or more IP ports in status X25-WAITING (only for IP ports of type X25BSVC).   [Allarme sulla porta IPRTR "xxx": una o piu' porte IP in stato X25-WAITING (solo per porte IP di tipo X25BSVC).
Pxxx SDLC PU ST Alarm on the SDLC "xxx" port.   One or more Physical Units in the status STOPPED (only BSVC channels).    [Allarme sulla porta SDLC "xxx": una o piu' Physical Unit in stato STOPPED (solo canali BSVC).
Pxxx HDLCT ST Alarm on HDLCT "xxx" port.   Driver in STOPPED status (only for BSVC channnels).     [Allarme sulla porta HDLCT "xxx": driver in stato  STOPPED (solo per  canali BSVC).
